Story
Resistance 2 picks up directly where the first game left off and has the same main character, Nathan Hale. The story is an alternate version of history where an alien race known as the Chimera have attacked Earth in the early 1950s. Besides simple attaks, the Chimera also take control of humans through the use of a virus. The main character is semi-resistant to this virus. The first game saw the Chimera invading England. In Resistance 2 the Chimera attack the United States. The main character and others like him, who are resistant to the virus, lead the humans in trying to stop the invasion.Wikipedia: Resistance 2Splitting the Story
The cooperative play in Resistance 2 puts up to eight players in the shoes of an alternate group of individuals trying to fight the Chimera. This side version of the story is designed to complement the singleplayer campaign and offers players the ability to unlock weapons and skins that can be used in either campaign.Wikipedia: Resistance 2-
Introduction
This is a detailed walkthrough for the single-player campaign of Insomniac's sequel to Fall of Man on the PlayStation 3. -
General Strategies
- Always look for cover! Though there is not a button that will take you under cover (ala Gears of War), crouching behind cover will do just as good. You will not survive long in Resistance 2 without cover.
- Unlike the previous game, there is no longer a health bar to worry about. You can be a little more aggressive with your attacks, now that you can regenerate to full health.
- You are also only able to hold two weapons at a time now. Try to keep a long range and short range weapon equipped at the same time (such as a Marksman/Fareye and a Carbine/Bullseye).
- Always remember to swap out empty guns for guns with ammunition, it will save you in the long run.
- Remember that you have grenades in addition to your guns. Don't forget to use them when you see Chimera bunched up.
-
Prologue - SRPA Station Igloo, Iceland
- Follow Major Blake until you reach the interior of a house. He will instruct you on how to use the secondary fire capability of your magnum weapon.
- Watch out for three attacking Hybrids when the door is open. Kill them and pick up the LAARK rocket launcher on the table.
- Aim at the red circles on the back of the Goliath with your LAARK.
- Follow Blake through the little tunnel and grab the Bullseye, dropping your empty LAARK.
- Crouch behind cover next to Blake. Several Hybrids will attack you after the Goliath passes by. Kill them by crouching in and out of cover.
- Tip: Use the secondary fire of the Bullseye to tag enemies. This will allow you to fire while still under cover due to the homing capabilities of the gun.
- Pick up a Carbine if you wish and continue following Blake.
- Take cover next to Blake when he warns you of incoming hostiles. Be prepared to fend off a wave of Hybrids charging across the bridge.
- Continue following the major. Watch out for spherical hover drones past the first doorway.
- You will have to defend Blake as he opens the door. Turn around and watch the entryway you came from. A group of drones will stream in behind you. Dodge and shoot them all down.
- Take cover next to the doorway up ahead and dispatch the two Hybrids up ahead. There will be one more looking down on you from above as you go to the last section.
- Eventually you will reach the computer console. Hybrids will ambush you from behind, so be prepared to kill them.
- Collectible! After the short cutscene, enter the next room. Before following Blake, take the ramp he doesn't take and follow the pathway around. You will find intel briefcase #2. (01/20)
- Make your way back to Blake and follow him forward. Hybrids will attack you straight ahead as soon as you drop down a hole.
- You will come up to another LAARK and the Goliath again. Pick up the LAARK and wait for the Goliath to swivel around, exposing the red circles you shot the first time. Shoot them until you hear Blake say "I think you pissed him off!" Quickly escape with Blake by sprinting. Stay close to him for the greatest chance of survival.
- Collectible! After you make your way across the bottom of the dilapidated bridge, you'll find an entryway into a trench. Go straight forward and you should find intel briefcase #1. (02/20)
- Backtrack slightly and follow Blake until you reach a corridor where Hybrids attack.
- Kill them all and then switch to your LAARK. Fire RPG's at the back of the Goliath until it goes down.
- Follow the major into the back of the plane up ahead to end the Prologue mission.

Chapter 1 - San Francisco, California
- Walk forward to trigger a cutscene.
- Once you have control again, walk through the hallway and turn left. Follow the path forward, taking care not to fall into the water.
- Eventually you'll reach a set of double doors. Walk through to pick up a magnum and an air-fuel grenade.
- Head out the doorway to the left to reach a long corridor with Hybrids.
- Collectible! Once they are dispatched, duck into the second room on the right to find intel briefcase #6. (03/20)
- Progress until you see Hawthorne win a melee versus a Hybrid. Once you are done talking, the door to your left will open.
- Make your way around the circular catwalk and down some stairs. The door here will open as you walk next to it. Pickup the Bullseye in front if you need it.
- Hover drones attack you from above on the left side. Take them out and move up the stairs.
- Pick up the Carbine if you need it and snipe at the Hybrids on the other end of the room.
- Continue forward and pick up the frag grenades on a crate. Throw grenades through the window to thin out the mass of Hybrids inside.
- Once the room is clear, go through it. There will be a Fareye sniper rifle fresh for your taking in it.
- Keep following your squadmates until you reach the very large Moon Pool room. Switch to your Fareye and snipe all the Hybrids you can from a distance.
- Head up the stairs to the objective marker on the right to close moon pool door #2.
- Collectible! Before you go across to the other switch, search the center console to find intel briefcase #5. (04/20)
- After you flip the switch for moon pool door #1, a short cutscene will occur. When you have control again, continue down the flooding hallway and down the elevator into a large room.
- Keep making your way forward until you see a couple of dead Hybrids and a large circular tunnel to enter.
- Collectible! Turn behind you to your right and you should see intel briefcase #4 lying out in the open beside some green crates. (05/20)
- Go through the tunnel to find a group of patrol drones. Fall back and take them out as they chase you.
- Drop down and head up the short flight of stairs to the right. You will see a shielded drone that you can't be killed with brute force.
- Follow the directions your squadmate gives you to successfully avoid the drone. When you reach the area with a bunch of crates, keep going forward and turn right. An objective marker will show up where you must wait.
- When the coast is clear again, run towards the objective marker and turn left. Keep running forward into the doorway straight ahead.
- Wait for the Fury to move to the other end of the room before jumping down into the water onto the large platform. Hybrids will descend from the elevator across the way and attack you. Take cover behind one of the pillars and use your Bullseye to remove them.
- Once they are all dead, make sure the coast is clear with the Fury and head up the elevator where the Hybrids came from.
- Walk forward to meet with Dr. Malikov.
- Follow him to the detention area, where Hybrids will attack you. Keep forging ahead until you reach an area where a Ravager bursts through. Be sure to keep your distance from its flamethrower. Use grenades and cover to kill him while falling back.
- Continue forward to reach a large room with many Hybrids. Take cover and dispatch of them methodically. Another Ravager will show up, but you will be so far away from it that it should be easy for you to kill it without taking any damage.
- Walk up the stairs to the right and around the catwalk.
- Malikov will point out the MP-47 Pulse Cannon on the ground floor. Drop down and pick one up.
- Collectible! Look towards the round center console to the left of the cannons to obtain intel briefcase #7. (06/20)
- A door to the northwest of the cannons will open. Head through it and be prepared to fight the Kraken.
- This particular battle is pretty simple. Just take cover behind the crates and fire the cannon at the Kraken when it's charged. The crates will break, but you can just move behind a different set.
- When the Kraken retreats, head up the ramp on the right side. Be mindful of the Furies swimming about.
- Follow Malikov to the elevator and head topside.
- Check out the view, then head down the stairs to the right. Take the stairs on your left and continue around into another doorway.
- You'll find a battle in progress already. Take cover and help the soldiers clear out all the Chimera. There's a Fareye in the bunker to the right if you need one.
- Note: This is a great time to get 20 kills for your Pulse Cannon for the "Exotic Weapons Collector" trophy. Once you are out of ammo, die intentionally and you'll restart nearby. The game will count kills even if you die.
- Once they are dead, head towards the objective marker and move forward. You will come up to another battle.
- Forge ahead and take cover behind the car. More Hybrids will attack you from above. They will be joined by hover drones as you make your way through this area.
- Collectible! Eventually you'll reach a large ramp that your squadmates will run up. Check the area to the right before running up the ramp for intel briefcase #8 out in the open. (07/20)
- Run forward to drop off the doctor at the helicopter.
- After the cutscene, drop down to find a very large Chimera approach you menacingly. Fire at it while backing away and tossing grenades. Once it goes down, another will take its place, so be prepared to take cover and empty bullets into it.
- When both Titans are dead, run inside and take the elevator on the far side of the room down.
- You should reach a large, flooded room. Watch out for the Furies and jump your way along the left side of the room where there are rocks surfacing. Make your way up the path of wreckage until you are attacked by a lone Hybrid. Kill it and jump across the fallen bridge into a bunker.
- Make your way through until you reach a Rossmore lying on a table. Get it and go inside the room. A short cutscene will occur and you will be in possession of the inhibitors.
- Collectible! Head up the short flight of stairs to be attacked by drones and Hybrids. Make your way down the hallway. After your first left turn, check the left side of the room to find intel briefcase #3. (08/20)
- The path ahead is fairly straight forward. Hybrids and drones will attack you as you make your way across the crumbling ship. After you ascend some ramps, you'll come to an area with a bunch of Hybrids and a Ravager. Use the Bullseye to take out the Ravager from under cover.
- Take the elevator at the end of the room upwards. You'll pick up a Pulse Cannon as you make your way to the helicopter landing pad.
-
Boss Fight: Kraken
- The Kraken will initially hurt you with its bad breath and tentacles. Strafe around the pad and shoot at its head with the Pulse Cannon as the charges become available.
- Try and dodge the tentacles as he drills them into the helicopter pad.
- As you hurt the monster it will dive underneath the water and appear elsewhere. Just be ready to turn and face him when you hear him surface.
- When the Kraken appears further off at sea, he is about to charge you. When you see him do this, back up to one of the far corners of the platform. He will end up on the platform with his mouth open. Don't bother shooting him here, concentrate on staying away from his mouth as it will kill you instantly if you are close to it.
- Keep firing at the Kraken while he does his breath and tentacle attacks. He should fall after he charges you two times.

Orick, California
- It will be hard to see in this fog, so quickly run forward and take cover as soon as possible.
- Be sure to pickup the Marksman on the ground near the start of the chapter. Use it to snipe the Hybrids attacking you from above.
- Make your way forward through the wreckage of the convoy, killing Hybrids.
- When you are done, jump down to the bog on the left.
- You will see a new enemy introduced, the Chameleon.
- Drones will swarm in from above as you move forward. Kill them all and be ready to fight two Chameleons. One will kill your squadmate right in front of you and the other will approach you from behind.
- Note: Chameleons are very annoying because they are invisible and can kill you in one hit. When you hear one, you can see them shimmer as they run towards you. Be sure you have your Rossmore equipped and fire at them when they are fairly close to you. One shot should drop it.
- Tip: If you are unsure of which direction to go, wait a few seconds and an objective marker will appear, guiding you to your next destination.
- Another Chameleon will rush at you straight ahead as you make your way forward. Kill him and arrive at a deforested area.
- Drop down and you will be attacked by a Chameleon on the right hand side. Two more will sequentially attack you from the front.
- After dispatching the Chameleons, drop down into the logging camp. Make your way around until you reach a blocked off bridge. Patrol drones will attack you here.
- Collectible! On the blocked bridge in front of some eggs lies intel briefcase #9. (09/20)
- Jump down into the water to the right of the bridge and start swimming.
- As you surface again, you'll see a Marksman on the ground. Pick it up and get ready to do some sniping. There will be a few Hybrids on the bridge above, along with some sentry drones.
- Continue along the path and to the right until you come up over the town of Orick.
- Get ready to face an ambush here. Pull out your Marksman and snipe the Hybrids patrolling on the roof of the Motel. More Hybrids and a large Chimera with a shield will charge at you on the ground. Take out the Hybrids first and then play ring around the rosy with the large beast and your shotgun.
- Collectible! Once the coast is clear, continue forward through town towards the back. Go up the stairs of the house to the left to find intel briefcase #10 on the ground next to a TV and table. (10/20)
- Drop down the side of the building to the streets.
- A couple of patrol drones will act as harbingers for a Titan. Quickly blow up the drones and get ready to empty your ammunition into the Titan. Use grenades and the secondary fire of your Marksman to soften it up.
- When it goes down, head towards the ramp on the right. A couple of Hybrids with Augers will shoot at you here. Pick up the Bullseye if you need to and take them out. Grab an Auger on the ground as you make your way up and through the crates. You may need to crouch to get through some areas.
- Drop down into the next area and have your Auger equipped.
- Tip: Pressing the alternate fire button with the Auger equipped will create a force shield that you can use for cover.
- You will have to make your way behind a Hellfire turret, which is indestructible from the front. Crouch down and move from cover to cover bearing left. You should have to only use the Auger force barrier once to create cover. Once you are behind the turret, hit Triangle to disable it.
- Be sure to kill the lone Hybrid to the right hand side.
- A ton of Chimera will attack you here, but you will have air support from a shielded squadmate. Feel free to pick off the Hybrids with the weapon of your choosing here.
- Turn around and continue forward until you reach another Chimeran ambush. Since you still have air support, it should be pretty easy to neutralize.
- After the short cutscene you will come up to a large battle. Take cover and use all the weapons at your disposal to press on into the large warehouse. Chimera will constantly be attacking you in here.
- Watch out for the patrol drones inside as you climb the staircase.
- Once back outside, drop down and make your way around the right towards the objective marker.
- You will end up inside the enemy trenches. Quickly kill of the unsuspecting Chimera and disable the Hellfire turret. Watch out for the large Chimera with a shield barrier. Take cover and fire at him with your shotgun when you see the shield disappear temporarily.
- A cutscene plays as you approach the shuttle.

Battleship
- Once you have control again, you will be inside a Chimeran battleship. Head forward down the hallway and have your finger on the secondary fire button for the Carbine.
- A Chameleon will attack you as you make your way through the corridors. One grenade from your Carbine should take it out.
- Kill all the Leapers with your Bullseye and crouch down into the small passageway. Keep crouch-walking through the area, killing Chimera along the way.
- You will come up into an area with eggs and a Fareye. Pick up the sniper rifle and continue forward. There will be more Fareye ammo in the dead end straight ahead to the left.
- Move forward and take the elevator down.
- Continue along the catwalks. You will soon come to an ambush of Chimera. Use your Fareye and Marksman to snipe out enemies above and below you that impede your progress. Progress slowly along here as there is very little cover for you to hide behind.
- Tip: You don't have to kill every single Chimera here, although this is a good place to work on your Sharpshooter (30 headshots with a sniper rifle) trophy, if you still need it.
- Eventually you will face two Auger toting Chimera. Once they are dead and you cross the small bridge, the door will close behind you. Be prepared to take on a Chameleon that will charge at you straight ahead. Keep your finger on the trigger as another one will attack shortly afterwards as well.
- Crouch down into the area ahead and move forward. There should be a couple of Leapers in here.
- You'll drop down twice and land next to an Auger-toting Chimera. Melee him and then continue around the path.
- A Hybrid patrol will be straight up ahead. Grab their attention and then take cover behind the wall to your left. Use your Auger to kill them through the wall.
- Up ahead, you'll see a squad of three Auger-toting Chimera descending on an elevator. You can't hit them from far off so you'll have to make your way closer to the elevator before it will descend to the ground. Once you see it falling, throw a grenade towards the elevator door and mop up any survivors.
- Take the elevator up to place the charges.
- Head back down the way you came in. Two Chameleons will attack in quick succession.
- Moving ahead, another one will run at you as you pass through the next doorway.
- Bear right, heading towards the elevator. One final Chameleon will charge you as you make your way to it.
- Once the elevator reaches the top you will have two minutes to get to the escape shuttle. Quickly sprint across the crumbling pathway here. You can feel free to ignore any distractions until you reach an area where your squadmates bunker down with about 45 seconds remaining on the timer. Take cover here and help them hold off the attacking Hybrids.
- With about 15 seconds left on the timer, your squadmates will shout that the doorway is now open. This is your cue to turn around and make a break for the shuttle. The mission ends as you approach the objective point.

Chapter 3 - Twin Falls, Idaho
- Turn on your flashlight by pressing Right on the directional pad. Make your way through the darkened house.
- Collectible! As you exit the house, take a short detour to the left. Behind the car parked outside you will find intel briefcase #13. (11/20)
- Go through the barn and around the backyard. Enter the house to your left and make your way up the stairs.
- You will end up overlooking a yard full of gross cocoons.
- Note: This is a great place to work on your "Snipe Hunt" trophy for killing 30 Spinners. Spinners are the tiny bug-like creatures that run around avoiding you. This yard has about 9 Spinners for you to kill. Feel free to restart the checkpoint three more times to get the trophy.
- Jump down and rendezvous with a soldier outside. He will tell you to find Warner while he looks for a way past the barricade.
- Head inside the house to your left. Be sure to have your shotgun equipped to deal with a nice surprised.
- Keep progressing towards the objective marker until you reach a house where you can see a soldier shooting at some Grims.
- Go inside the basement doors to reach a flooded room. Deal with the enemies here and head to the right side where you can see some cardboard boxes. Behind them is a way up into the main floor of the house. Get ready to take down some Grims here.
- Collectible! Make the first left into the living room and you should find intel briefcase #12 in the doorway. (12/20)
- Follow Warner up the stairs and kill a couple of more zombies. You'll find yourselves back outside the house again. Your goal is to backtrack to Hawthorne with Warner. Be prepared to fight lots of zombies, though. They will burst forth from previously innocuous cocoons as you run back.
- Tip: There are weapons and ammo in the first barn on the left if you run low.
- Note: This is a good time to get your "For Close Encounters" trophy for getting 10 headshots with the shotgun. Wait until the Grim are close and then pop them in the head with the Rossmore.
- Continue following Warner and the objective markers until you reach a heated battle in front of a gas station.
- This will be a tough battle as you will have to deal with Chimera everywhere. Take cover behind the cars and use your grenades and heavy ordinance to thin out the crowds.
- Tip: Watch out for the hedgehog grenades that will be thrown your way. When you see the grenade indicator on your screen, quickly sprint away from it to avoid being killed by shrapnel.
- After the first wave is dead, Chimera will fire upon you with Augers from inside the diner. Dodge the shots as you make your way to the right of the diner.
- Collectible! Behind a couple of military trucks will be intel briefcase #11. (13/20)
- Grab the Bellock Semi-Automatic nearby as well.
- Peek inside the doorway of the diner and lob grenades. You can also fire some Bellock shots or Bullseye tracers to dispatch the enemies in here.
- When the diner is clear, make your way out back and around the ramp to left side.
- Another Chimera ambush awaits you in the storage building. Keep moving through buildings until you reach another battle in a barn.
- Follow your squad into the movie theater where there will be a very large group of Grim shambling about. Use your best crowd control ordinance to thin them out.
- Continue through the theater until you're outside again.
- THREE Titans will attack you out here. This will be a very tough battle. You want to keep away from the cars as you will be hurt by collateral damage if they explode. Constantly keep strafing while focusing your fire on one until it goes down. Remember that you have a very large area to work with so if you are getting cornered, feel free to sprint to a different part of the square.
- Note: There is a Bellock near the gazebo in the center, if you need more heavy ordinance.
- When the Titans are down, follow the objective marker of your squadmates to the next Chimera ambush in the alleyway.
- Drop down into the abandoned train yard and go towards the darkened area with your flashlight turned on.
- Zombies will burst forth here and attack you as you try to make your way through.
- Once through the first area, you will reach a bridge with a large contingent of Chimera. Take cover behind the train cars and kill them. Watch out for the hedgehog grenades being thrown.
- Continue forward towards the darkened tunnel while looking for a doorway on the left.
- Follow these halls through a flooded tunnel with Leapers.
- The next room contains a sealed blast door. You will have to flip the switch in the center of the room to open it. As soon as you do so, Leapers will flood into your location. Use a combination of melee attacks with your Carbine to defeat them. Your squadmate will help you with his minigun.
- Continue forward and take the elevator topside.
- Climb the staircases here to the top of the tower. Along the way you'll find a nasty surprise.
Boss Fight: Mother Spinner
- This will be a very straightforward and simple fight. The Mother Spinner does not have very intimidating attacks against you.
- As you ascend to the round platform, you will see the Mother Spinner in the center. Simply unload upon it with whatever weapons you have and it will go down.
- The Mother Spinner will occasionally drop onto the platform and walk around. Unfortunately for it, it is very slow and easy to avoid.
- Another of its attacks is to jump further into the distance and scream menacingly at you.
- It may also toss six or Leapers onto the platform for you to fight. These are easily dispatched with your Carbine rifle.
- If you run low on ammo, there are lots of Rossdale and Carbine ammo lying around.

Chapter 4 - Bryce Canyon, Utah
- You begin the Chapter on a helicopter with a sniper rifle equipped. Your first task is to clear the landing zone of Chimera.
- Sniper the Hybrids on the ground. When you see patrol drones fly by, switch to your Carbine and take them out.
- Tip: Remember that you can use the alternate fire of the Fareye to slow down time temporarily. This will make it much easier to get headshots on the Hybrids.
- Once the helicopter lands, get out and head down the stairs.
- You'll come up onto a ridge where patrol drones and Hybrids will attack you. Defeat them and move onto the next area where there will be more Hybrids out in the distance. Pull out your Fareye and provide sniper cover for your squadmates as they attack the Chimera. There will be two Chameleons in this area, so watch out.
- Two Ravagers will burst through the next area. Run back and take cover behind the rock formations as soon as you hear the growling.
- Tip: One headshot from the Fareye will kill a Ravager, so if you are fast, you can dispatch the two Ravagers quickly from behind cover.
- After all of the Chimera are dead, drop down through the hole the Ravagers created.
- Collectible! Go inside the tent on your left to find intel briefcase #14. (14/20)
- Continue walking forward through some caves until you see some large shielded Chimera. Lure them back to your squadmates and duck under cover. From here, you and your team should be able to exterminate them easily.
- Walk forward and pick up the Wraith minigun and move to the left to trigger a short cutscene.
- After you have control again, continue forward and equip your Wraith. Use the alternate fire to put up a force barrier that will protect you while you fire. Take out the multitude of Leapers here and forge ahead.
- Once through the doors, take a little detour to the room on the right to pick up a spider-grenade and a Rossmore.
- Go back out and turn right through another set of doors to find a couple of Wraith-carrying Chimera. Use your grenades and Rossmore to take down their force shields and kill them.
- Once the Chimera are dead, continue forward and pick up a brand new Wraith. Go down the elevator to flank the Chimeran forces on the bridge. It's just like a shooting gallery!
- Head towards the elevator and be prepared to kill a couple of Hybrids before getting on.
- Quickly head up the ramp on the right and flank the Auger-toting Hybrids. Pick one up and continue through the tunnels.
- Flip the power switch up ahead and catch a glimpse of The Swarm. Gross.
- Unfortunately that will be your fate too, if you don't get moving. Quickly turn around and sprint back the way you came from. Follow the cabling on the ground if you are unsure of which way to go. It is imperative that you don't stop for anything until you reach the elevator, or else you will die instantly.
- Once you reach the top, continue following the path and tunnel until The Swarm attacks again.
- Back track past the first door, but notice that The Swarm goes out of the vent in an attempt to trap you. Instead of backtracking all the way out, run forward, towards the objective marker.
- Collectible! Before you go through the large doorway, duck into the hallway to the right. At the end you will find a dead body and intel briefcase #15. (15/20)
- A cutscene will take place when you find Dr. Malikov through the doorway.
- Collectible! Follow Malikov until you reach an intersection. Take a little detour to the left to find a couple of frag grenades and intel briefcase #16. (16/20)
- Head back and continue following Malikov. He will open a door for you, where you will see a Fareye on the ground. Pick it up and go down the ramp to the left.
- A Ravager and a shielded Chimera will attack you. Use the Fareye with the alternate fire to kill them quickly.
- After the elevator ride down, you will discover that The Swarm doesn't like the electrical generators. Jump down to the first generator.
- Follow and listen to Malikov until you reach the second generator. Walk towards the door and then quick turn around and get back inside the generator once The Swarm appears. Take out your Fareye and snipe the one Ravager that comes out with The Swarm.
- When the Doctor tells you to, make a beeline for the door again. Be sure you are holding down sprint or you won't make it.
- Note: There's a spider-grenade on the table to the right of the room.
- Going through the next set of doors, you will find a Chimeran ambush. Pick up the Wraith and mow down the Hybrids that stream in. Take cover behind the short wall next to the doorway. Two Ravagers will burst in after you take care of the Hybrids. If you have any Fareye shots left, now is the time to use them.
- Continue following the Doctor when all of the Chimerans are dead.
- It looks like you are going to have to figure out a way to kill The Swarm. Listen to Malikov's plan and take the elevator down.
- Jump across the pipes until you reach the center platform with the generator. Pick up the Pulse Cannon and get ready to fight The Swarm.
Boss Fight: The Swarm
- This is a very tough and annoying boss fight, due to the fact that The Swarm can kill you in one hit and there are no checkpoints.
- The goal is to lure The Swarm into the three generators and shoot it three times with the Pulse Cannon.
- The challenge is in getting the Swarm to follow you because it will only chase you when you are outside of the generator.
- Tip: Shooting The Swarm with the Pulse Cannon while it is moving about will not hurt it, but will slow it down, making it easier to evade.
- You are going to have to wait until The Swarm is very close to you before you can run across the generator, trapping it. You may have to try several times per generator to get it to follow you.
- Once it is trapped, shoot it once with the Pulse Cannon and quickly run towards the objective marker for the next generator.
- After you trap and shoot it three times, The Swarm will die.
- Continue up the ramp and follow Malikov up the elevator topside. Follow him into the next area where you are ambushed by two Titans.
- You should have a full Pulse Cannon in your inventory. Shoot the first Titan four times with it to drop it. Leapers will pour into the area, so drop your empty Pulse Cannon for the LAARK on the ground. Use your Carbine and Frag Grenades to clear out all the Leapers before concentrating on the other Titan. Four shots from the LAARK should drop the other Titan.
- When the area is clear, follow Malikov to the extraction point.

Chapter 5 - Chicago, Illinois
- Follow your squad through the alley. Pickup the Splicer on the ground and continue forward.
- An ungodly amount of Grim zombies will pour forth into this alleyway. Use everything at your disposal to kill them all.
- Tip: Holding down the alternate fire button with the Splicer equipped will rev up the buzzsaw. Pressing fire with a blade spinning will launch it with much more devastating results.
- At the end of the alley, turn left to trigger a cutscene.
- When you have control of Hale again, head up the stairs in front of you until you reach an opening.
- Drop down and deactivate the Hellfire turret by pressing Triangle.
- Pickup the Fareye next to the window. You're going to have to help Warner out across the street.
- Three Steelheads will appear on the bottom floor. Snipe them through the windows. Warner will then deactivate the turret on his side.
- Follow the path outside and back in again until you reach the next turret. Deactivate it and wait for the Chimeran ambush on the other end.
- Watch out for a lone Grim that will appear in front of you. Kill it, and snipe all of the Chimera on the other side. Warner will deactivate his turret, allowing you to proceed.
- Jump across to the next building and deactivate the turret here. Three attack drones will descend upon you. Take them all out and Warner will deactivate his final turret.
- Note: If at anytime you fall down, you will have to climb back up the original fire escape and make your way back through the rooftops. It may be easier to just let the turrets kill you, putting you at the last checkpoint.
- Go across the bridge into the next building. Drop down and smash open the green door with your melee attack.
- Jump into the water and swim to the ramp on the left. Use the wall in the water as cover from the Hybrids shooting at you.
- Quickly kill all of the Hybrids on the platform and take cover behind the small wall to the back. Pop out and kill the drones and Hybrids on the other side of the water, using your Fareye and Bullseye.
- Collectible! When the coast is clear, look for a room nearby where you took cover. If you see the cars in the water, you've gone too far. You should see a dead body with some Fareye ammo and also intel briefcase #17. (17/20)
- Time to do some car-hopping. Jump along the line of cars in the water, taking care not to fall in the water. If you do, you'll be Fury food.
- Some drones will attack you halfway through your jumping. Stop moving and shoot them all before continuing. Your platforming will stop once you ascend some subway train cars.
- Unfortunately, your fall causes the water level to rise. Quickly sprint forward and follow the defined path for you. You'll have to do some jumping, but it should be pretty obvious where you want to be going. It's a race against time, since there are Furies in the water. However, don't be too stressed as it should be fairly easy to make it to the next area unscathed.
- Turn on your flashlight and pick up the Splicer on the ground. You'll need it to fight off the Grim in this darkened building.
- Follow the hallways until you reach the kitchen. Pick up the Rossdale if you need it, then head back out to the previous room and jump down the hole.
- More Grim will flood into this room. Kill them as you make your way around the flooded mess in the middle. Eventually you'll reach a door that will be kicked open by a bunch of Grim. Kill them and go through the door.
- You'll end up outside where a large set battle is occurring. There are oodles of Hybrids and a Spider-Mech to deal with here. Take cover and use your best aiming skills to wear down the enemy forces.
- Tip: Blow up the cars in front of Chimera to damage or kill them quickly.
- Continue pressing forward into the melee until you reach an area where two Hellfire turrets will pin you down. Take cover behind the cars as a fleet of drones will attack you, including two shielded Attack Drones.
- Take out the normal patrol drones first, then concentrate on each of the drones separately. It will take a lot of ammo to take down their shields, so you might want to let your squadmates help wear them down.
- Once the drones are clear, air support will remove the turrets, allowing you to continue forward.
- Blow up the cars directly in front of you to damage/kill the three Steelheads in front.
- Quickly run towards cover to shield yourself from the Spider Mech Chimera. A couple of Hunter Drones will descend upon you here as well.
- There will be a lot of enemies to deal with here, so you have to be constantly on the move in procuring ammo and taking cover.
- Make your way to the entrance of the building in the back. Once you clear out the Chimera, you will find a stash of LAARKs. Pick one up and start firing on the Spider Mechs with them. Empty all of your ammunition into them and eventually they will go down. Watch out for additional Hunter Drones that will fly out as well.
- Clear out any remaining Chimera and run towards the objective marker on your screen. The Leviathan will make an appearance during a short cutscene.
- You will regain control inside a dark building. Turn on your flashlight and make your way through the building, dropping down and smashing open a door.
- Follow the Hybrids outside and kill them. Continue along the path until you reach a small bridge with a Chimeran ambush. Take cover and kill them.
- Run up the ramp where they came from and pick up the Fareye on the ground. Snipe the Hybrids on the other end of the bridge, keeping an eye out for Leeches that will rush you.
- Clear out the rest of the Hybrids and continue along the path.
- As you reach the large bridge, a large group of Grim zombies will rush you while Steelheads fire Augers at you. Fall back and use the Magnum to thin out the Grims. Once they are dead, switch to your Fareye and snipe the Steelheads from across the way.
- Continue up the stairs into the department store, watching out for the Leech that will run at you as you approach the doorway.
- Hunter drones will attack you inside the store. Pick up the Wraith and put up the force shield. You should have enough ammunition to shoot down all the drones.
- Head up the stairs, being mindful not to fall down the holes in the room.
- You will hear rumbling, but keep moving forward, up several flights of stairs.
- Eventually you will reach a soldier who will guide you to a LAARK. Pick it up and get ready to fight the Leviathan.
Boss Fight: Leviathan
- Wait for the Leviathan to grab you in its hand. When it opens its mouth, fire a LAARK RPG into it. Repeat this two more times and the Leviathan will toss you onto another building.
- Go inside the building for a checkpoint. Run up the long flights of stairs until you reach the roof.
- You should see a very tenuous ramp to the left, marked by an objective marker. Sprint up that until you reach a building and another checkpoint.
- Go down the stairs into the nice living area and wait for a few seconds. Once the Leviathan rips open the roof, keep walking down the staircases until you reach the bottom floor. If you dawdle too long, the Leviathan will kill you in one hit.
- Grab the extra LAARK ammo and head out the window.
- The Leviathan will grab you in its hand again. Fire a RPG into its mouth when it opens and he'll throw you through a skybridge into another building.
- Take the Bullseye Mark II here and make your way across the buildings. Small groups of Hybrids will attack you, but they should be no problem.
- Eventually, you'll land outside with two Hybrid. Kill them both and pick up the LAARK.
- Fire an RPG at the Leviathan to get its attention. It will start lumbering towards the sky bridge.
- Quickly switch to your other weapon here, as patrol drones will swarm in on you. Blow them all up and switch back to your LAARK.
- When you get the signal from your squadmate, fire an RPG at the sky bridge to take it out on top of the Leviathan.
- Fire a couple of more RPGs at the Leviathan for good measure, and it'll fall.

Chapter 6 - Holar Tower, Iceland
- Run forward until the end of the road. If you look to your right, there should be some stairs you can climb.
- Keep moving until you see an area with an American flag flying. Walk down and face some Hybrids.
- This will actually be a fairly challenging battle. Take cover behind the rocks and flag and use your Marksman to headshot the Hybrids. When they stop coming, walk forward slightly and toss a grenade into the bunker on your left. This should clear out the three Hybrids hiding inside there.
- Walk up the stairs and be prepared to fight a shielded Chimera. Tag it with a Bullseye tracer and back down under cover and fire.
- Continue up the stairs to place the charges on the first AAG.
- Descend into the bunker.
- Tip: Make sure your flashlight is on down here.
- Take the corridor on the right. Before you walk through, kill the Hybrid that runs away from you.
- As you run into the next corridor, two Hellfire turrets will fire upon you. If you sprint through, you'll survive the shots.
- Immediately duck into the alcove on your right, as Chimera will attack you straight ahead. Make good use of your Bullseye to kill them while under cover.
- More Chimera will fire upon you as you round the next corner. Use your Marksman to headshot the Steelhead and mop up the remaining two Hybrids with your Bullseye.
- Collectible! Continue forward into the locker room. In the back of the room, next to a closed gate, is intel briefcase #18. (18/20)
- Go through the open doorway and drop down into a garage. There's a Spider Mech waiting for you outside, but stay in the garage for a minute. Patrol drones will stream in from the doorway you just walked through. Kill them all before attempting to move outside.
- When you see an opening, run outside and down the first staircase in the middle. Pick up the LAARK off the soldier's body. Feel free to take the Marksman here as well.
- Go back outside and take out the Spider with the LAARK. Hybrids with Bullseye Mark II's will attack you from above, use the Marksman to snipe them.
- The garage door will open, revealing two more Chimera. Blow up the explosives inside to kill them quickly.
- Run through and plant the last charge on the AAG.
- Continue forward and rendezvous with your squad. After the fireworks, drones will attack you through the window. Once they are all dead, quickly take cover behind crates facing the doorways.
- A very large force of Chimera will attack you through both doorways. Your best bet is to use your Marksman to headshot as many as you can while darting in and out of cover. If you have any grenades or LAARK RPGs left, now is the time to use them.
- Note: There are several Marksman ammo refills near the center crate of the room.
- When the coast is clear, move forward through the tunnels until you get outside again. Kill the two Hybrids out here and run to the sandbags.
- Many Chimera will attack you from across the area. Fortunately, there a lot of Fareye rifles for you here.
- Take out the Ravage perched on the tower first. Then snipe all of the Hybrids firing at you.
- When the Chimera are all dead, a shielded Attack Drone will fly out at you. Stay under cover and empty rifle shots into it. Eventually its shield will fall and you can shoot it down.
- Head into the garage and wait for your squadmates to open the door.
- You'll find yourself in a room surrounded by cocoons. Grab a splicer and Rossmore and camp out facing straight ahead. Grim are going to burst out of the cocoons and you will have to hold them off until Warner can close the doors.
- After the doors are closed, you will still have to deal with the remaining Leech cocoons inside the room.
- Head towards the elevator and take the long ride down outside.
- You'll see many Spider Mechs outside, but you won't have to worry about them. Run straight ahead and drop down into the valley slightly to the right.
- Pick up a Marksman here and start working on killing the Hybrids on top and on the bottom. Your goal is to reach Foxtrot squad and help them fend off the Chimeran attackers. There will be a lot of enemies here, so cautiously take them out.
- Make your way up the canyon until you reach a long drop. Your squadmate will yell at you to back off. Be sure to grab a Wraith and a LAARK as you run back to take cover.
- Swarms of Leapers will crawl up the cliff and attack you. Mow them down as fast as you can with your Wraith because a Titan is on his way up to attack you as well.
- Launch four RPG's at the Titan to kill it, then focus on eliminating the rest of the Leapers.
- When everything is dead, walk back to where you were before to take an elevator down.
- Walk forward to trigger a short cutscene.
- Continue following the corridors, making sure your Wraith is equipped. When you reach the Chimeran forces, put up the force shield and take them all out.
- Tip: Try and pick up an Auger if you can. The next room will have a single Chimera with an Auger holed up in several walls. Killing it will be easier if you can shoot straight through them.
- Another cutscene will trigger as you make your way to the next area.
- Make sure you have a rapid fire weapon equipped here. Leeches will stream in at you in the next area. If you don't kill them fast enough, they will explode on you in rapid succession.
- Once the Leeches are dead, continue forward through one of the side doors. Be prepared to take out a Chameleon that will run at you as you make your way around.
- Keep moving forward, taking out Chimera as you go. Grab an Auger and make your way to a large area with a staircase leading up. Three Hybrids will attack you here, kill them all and walk up.
- It's an ambush! Chimera will stream in behind you. Take cover behind a wall. This will be a tough fight as you have to deal with shielded Chimera, Steelheads, and Leeches.
- If you have an Auger, you can quickly kill the shielded Chimera. Then, hide behind a wall and kill the two Leeches as they rush you. Finally, you can dispatch the remaining Hybrid at your leisure.
- After the first wave is down, your squadmate will appear behind you with a Wraith. Duck under cover and let him mow down as many Chimera from the second wave as possible. Watch out for two more Leeches that will charge in though.
- Mop up any remaining survivors and head through the newly opened door on the left.
- A cutscene will trigger at the end of the hallway, ending the chapter.

Cocodrie, Louisiana
- Head towards the plantation house ahead of you. Your objective is to clear it of Chimera.
- When you reach the house, crouch and move around the right border of the area. You want to make it to a small graveyard area where there is cover. With luck, you'll get there without being spotted.
- Pull out your Fareye and start sniping the Chimera on the top floor of the house. This will trigger more Hybrids spilling out of the ground floor doors. Snipe them as well. When the shielded Chimera comes out, wait until it lowers its shield. Quickly go into slo-mo with the Fareye and shoot him in the head. One shot should take him out.
- Note: There is some more Fareye ammo between two of the large graves in the graveyard.
- When all of the visible Chimera are dead, walk towards the main entrance to pick up a suitcase of three frag grenades.
- As you head up the stairs to the second floor, you will come up behind four Hybrids. Kill as many as you can with your Magnum. They will scatter into the two adjacent rooms. Finish off any of the survivors.
- At this point, a large Chimeran force will storm the front of the house. Pull out your Fareye and try to snipe as many as you can before the Auger fire forces you to retreat further upstairs.
- Keep an eye out for several waves of Hybrids who will try to flank you by coming up the stairs from the first floor. Use your Magnum's primary and secondary fire to eliminate them.
- When you get a little breathing room, snipe the two large Shielded Chimera outside. After the second one goes down, you should get a checkpoint. Finish off the remaining Chimera.
- Tip: After you get the checkpoint, feel free to die. The game will restart you at the checkpoint with all of the lesser Chimera dead.
- Collectible! Head up to the attic to find a Marksman, a LAARK, and intel briefcase #19. (19/20)
- Time for another boss fight.
Boss Fight: Maurader
- The Maurader is a lumbering, giant, elephant-like Chimera that will assault the mansion.
- It has one main attack, which is to launch fiery missiles that will penetrate the walls of the mansion. If you see the walls of the mansion glow with orange lines, keep running until they dissipate. The effect is similar to that of a Spider-Grenade.
- You'll want to stay inside the house for the duration of the battle.
- As soon as the Maurader approaches, you should be able to see it clearly from the hole in the attack where you picked up the LAARK. If you are quick, you can get off some good shots on it before it rounds the corner.
- Note: If you are affected by the Maurader's neurotoxin, shake the controller to cure yourself of the effect.
- Head down to the second floor and empty the remaining LAARK RPGs into its head. When you are out of ammo, switch to the Marksman and shoot at its head. The Maurader should go down fairly quickly.
- It will conveniently die in the river, forming a bridge to the house on the other side.
- Jump and walk across its dead carcass into the house. Make your way around and up some stairs until you reach a checkpoint and an area where three Titans will be firing at you.
- Find an opening and sprint across the bridge to the other side. You will find your teammates holed up here. Pick up the Bellock and continue making your way around.
- Burn the Hybrid that come in the room with your Bellock. Grab a Fareye and snipe at the Chimera across the way.
- When the Chimera are dead, wait for an opening from the Titans and make a run across the bridge. The bridge is a cracked in the middle, so take a little leap when you see that.
- Head up the stairs and burn the four Hybrids up here. Pick up the LAARK and empty three shots into one Titan, one shot into another. This should take one out and damage the other.
- Go in the door and kill the Hybrid, along with several patrol drones.
- Find the entryway on the left and walk around. There will be another LAARK on the ground before the hole facing out. Pick it up and finish off the remaining Titans. You may have to use other weaponry to administer the killing blows.
- After the Titans are neutralized, jump down and across to the riverboat.
- 'Collectible! Take the stairs at the far end up to the second floor and make your way back towards the house. The final intel briefcase is in a small room here along with a Wraith. If you are facing out towards where the Titans were, the room is on the left side, second door out from where you entered the boat. (20/20)
- Continue going up the stairs until you reach the top of the river boat. One last Titan stands between you and your men. Put up the force shield and let loose into the Titan.
- When it falls, make your way across and rendezvous with your squad.
- A large Chimeran battle will take place here. Take cover, preferably behind an already blown up car and have at them.
- Tip: The enemy will bunch up behind cars here. Use this to your advantage by blowing up the cars they are hiding behind.
- When you kill the initial forces, another wave will attack you straight ahead. Fall back and take cover next to your soldiers to hold off the Chimera. Use grenades and the Auger here for best results.
- Continue past where the Chimera came from and up onto a bridge. Walk across the underside of the bridge to reach a path with a large Chimeran force and a cutscene.
- Follow your soldiers around the marsh until you reach a gated tunnel.
- When they open the door, be prepared to fend off a swarm of Leapers.
- Once through, pull out your Rossdale. You will be wading your way across a marsh of Chameleons.
- As long are you have your shotgun equipped and have the reflexes to react, you should get through unharmed. One shotgun blast will kill a Chameleon. Your teammates will also help you kill some of them.
- Grab the Fareye up ahead and go to town on the Chimeran outpost. You'll only have to deal with Auger and Bullseye-toting Hybrids.
- Continue forward through the next gate and cutscene.
- You'll end up on the bottom of a very large ramp. Get ready for a large D-Day-like assault on the Chimera.
- Immediately walk up a little and time a couple of grenade throws to take out a group of Hybrid running down at you. They are accompanied by several shield Chimera. Hopefully you still have an Auger, it will make it easier to shoot them through their shields.
- Note: It goes without saying that you should be taking cover at all times here.
- Once they go down, two Titans will shamble their way down the field. Run to the left side and pick up the Marksman next to the boxes. Use the secondary fire to weaken the Titans, and then fire at them. Finish them off with any weapons you find lying around.
- The Hybrids will then retreat up the ramp. Follow them up, but be sure to stick near your squadmates. If you go too far up, the Hybrids will overwhelm you with numbers.
- Take cover and whittle away at their numbers. Eventually you will clear them all.
- Walk to the end of the ramp for a cutscene.

Chicxulub Crater, Mexico
- Follow Capelli around the ship until you reach a hangar bay.
- Take out the unsuspecting Hybrids and head towards the objective marker.
- Press the switch next to the door and quickly run back to find cover on the other end of the room.
- Equip your Fareye and train them on the door to the left of the switch. Four Steelheads with Augers and a Titan will walk through. Try and headshot the Steelheads as quickly as possible, as Augur fire will be hard to deal with under cover. Let Capelli handle the Titan, as he has a Wraith equipped. When the Steelheads are down, feel free to help take down the Titan.
- When the enemies are dead, go through the newly opened elevator and ride it up. Grab an Auger on your way to the elevator.
- Wait until the drones pass by, then follow them through the door on the right. Keep moving along the path until you see Chimera walking underneath you. Use your Auger to kill them through the transparent floor.
- Move down the ramp and into the only door that opens. Keep following the path until you reach a very large room with two Hybrids visible.
- Kill them, then keep walking to the left. Steelheads will run at you across the way. Pull out your Fareye and snipe them.
- Follow Capelli into a doorway on the left. You'll pick up a Hedgehog grenade on the way. Toss it down the hall into the trio of Chimera. Feel free to let Capelli do most of the work with his Wraith.
- More Chimera will greet you as you make your way back into the large room. The contingent on the right corridor is bunched up - perfect for a grenade throw.
- Make your way towards the center of the room. Two shielded Chimera will walk in here, but they are easily taken down with your Auger and Capelli's Wraith.
- Let Capelli fiddle with the control panel for a little bit. He will open the elevator door for you, allowing you to find the conduit hub.
- Walk up the ramps until you reach a closed door. Wait a couple seconds for Capelli to open it and walk through.
- Turn left and head towards the catwalk ahead. As you ascend the ramps, Capelli will tell you that he detects movement behind you. You should be able to see three Chimera trying to sneak behind you. Use your Auger to kill them through the walls. Grab their ammo and continue through the doors up top.
- You'll reach a room full of white hot water and a walkway. Cross it and go through the door on the left. Get ready to take out a Chameleon that charges you almost immediately.
- Three Steelheads with Augers greet you in the next room. Put up an Auger barrier and go to work on them. Alternatively you can flank them from the side.
- Run into the next room and quickly pick up the Rossdale on the floor. Three Chamelons will attack in quick succession, so be ready to take them all down.
- Go up the ramp and take down another Chameleon.
- Keep pressing forward until you reach an air fuel grenade and a Bullseye Mark II. Pick it up and use it to take down the large number of patrol drones that fill the room.
- When they are all destroyed, drop down into one of the holes the drones came from. Continue onwards and up some ramps until you reach the manual override console. Press the button and continue forward. Don't forget to grab the Wraith on your way out.
- Four Steelheads and a Shielded Chimera will ambush you down the corridor. Put up your Wraith or Auger shield and quickly dispatch them. One Hedgehog Grenade will thin their ranks heavily as well.
- Listen to the audio comm chatter, then head up the elevator when the doors open.
- Grab the Marksman on your way up the ramps here.
- Find some cover and snipe the Steelhead on the bottom floor with your Marksman. Turn your attention to two more Steelheads slightly elevated to your left. At this point a Shielded Chimera will run at you, so whip out your Wraith and mow it down. Snipe two more Hybrids on the top platform on the right. Three Steelheads will rush you on the bottom floor - take them out with your Wraith.
- Continue forward and kill an Auger-toting Hybrid above you.
- You end up at a checkpoint where two Titans will attack you. One will crawl up the platform on the left side and the other will drop down from the doorway to the right.
- This will be a very challenging battle, due to the close quarters nature. Start by emptying the rest of your Marksman into the head of the Titan on your right. Run forward and swap it out for the Carbine in front of the boxes to your left. Switch to your Wraith and put up the shield. While avoiding the Titan on your left, empty the Wraith into the Titan on the left until he goes down.
- With one down, it should be easier to finish off the remaining Titan. Always keep some cover between you and its rockets.
- Pick up the Fareye behind the boxes to the right as you entered the area.
- Walk up the ramps to the other side and enter the set of doors.
- You will see two Hybrid on the right just standing there. Quickly kill them and pull out your Carbine to deal with some patrol drones. Two Steelheads attack to the right, feel free to snipe them.
- Grab a new Wraith and head up the small ramp where the Steelheads were taking cover.
- Once through the doors, walk towards the left and through the hanger until you reach a checkpoint.
- Two Shielded Chimera and a Titan will be walking away from you here. Switch to your sniper rifle and quickly headshot the two lesser ones. The Titan will escape through the door before you have time to kill it.
- Walk towards the door to find that it won't open. If you look to the left, there's a very narrow catwalk that you can jump onto and follow.
- Stop when you see a dead human and a Fareye on the ground. If you look ahead, you can see some Chimera having a little domestic dispute. Feel free to snipe them all at any point. Take cover to your right if you need to.
- Drop down and head through the large doors. Two Steelheads with Bullseye Mark II's will attack you here. Kill them and move into the room.
- Force barriers here will trap you in here, while Daedalus attacks you from above. You can't hurt him yet, so don't bother shooting him.
- Focus on staying away from Daedalus's tentacles as he tears sections away from the roof. Eventually he will open the force barrier, allowing you to proceed.
- Note: Occasionally, Daedalus will disorient you with some screeching. Feel free to ignore it, feel
- Get ready to fight some Chimera. It's a standard force of Hybrids and Steelheads. Take them out from a distance, because if you get too close to the floating mass of debris, Daedalus will start throwing stuff at you.
- When the Chimera are dead, avoid the debris, and make your way to the next domed room.
- Again, Daedalus will rip pieces off the roof and allow you to pass once he's had enough.
- Another group of Chimera will attack you here. The same scenario will happen with the floating debris.
- Make your way to the final domed room. Fortunately, Daedalus will let you through after only ripping up a couple of pieces of the roof.
- One last squad of Chimera are all that stand between you and destiny. Once they are dead, make your way down to the center platform. Time to take out the big baddie once and for all.

Boss Fight: Daedalus
- This fight isn't particularly difficult. You won't be able to hurt Daedalus through conventional means.
- He will chase you around the circular platform while pawing at you with his tentacles. As long as you sprint away and keep your distance, you won't get hurt.
- To damage Daedalus, you will need to shoot the electrical orb that is glowing with electricity as he walks through it. It will be obvious which orb you need to shoot, as only one orb at a time will have a line of electricity shooting through it. You will know you have damaged him if his entire body is convulsing with electricity.
- Repeat this process three more times to kill him.
- Once Daedalus is dead, you find yourself infused with new found powers. Don't worry, you'll get to test them out soon.
- You will have four minutes to escape the ship before the bomb detonates. Start sprinting towards the newly opened path. The escape route is fairly linear, so it should be fairly obvious which direction you have to go.
- Note: Remember that you can crouch to get through half opened doors. You may have to jump a couple of times along the way to get to where you want to be.
- Chimera will start attacking you as you make your escape, but now that you are a bad ass, they pose no problem. Simply press the fire button to make any Chimera explode instantly. Pretty cool, huh?
- Follow the objective markers until about the one minute mark. To get to the last objective marker, you'll have to jump onto a narrow platform and climb a makeshift ramp.
- Congratulations, you have finished the single-player campaign for Resistance 2!
