Titan Details

The Titans represent the farthest level of evolution the Chimera can reach with the human form. They don't wear any form of body armor because their skin has evolved into a very thick hide that's able to take high amounts of damage. In Resistance 2 they carry a cannon that shoots huge fireballs and can do extensive damage to the player. The Titans are typically used as shock troops by the Chimera and can often lead the way in large battles.Wikia.com: Resistance Wiki - Titan
Strategies

Because of their massive power, the Titans should not be battled at close range. A melee hit from one of these monsters will do a significant amount to damage to the player. Because their skin is nearly bullet-proof, it makes the most sense to aim for the head. An additional strategy for taking them down is to circle around them and destroy the cooling apparatus on its back. This causes the Titan to explode, but the player should be sure to keep his distance because the creature explodes with a great amount of force that can cause some damage. The recommended weapons to use against this creature in Resistance 2 are the LAARK and the Pulse Cannon with some grenades thrown into the mix.Wikia.com: Resistance Wiki - Titan
