Resistance 2 Swarm Boss Fight

The Swarm is one of six boss types in the PS3 game Resistance 2. This boss is found in the Base level of the game and must be lured into multiple generators in order to be defeated.
Defeating the Swarm

Before the appearance of the swarm, the player must pick up the Pulse Cannon as that is the only way to defeat it. The Pulse Cannon is found lying next to the soldier's corpse on the first generator platform. Once the player reaches the generator platform the Swarm will appear.
The player must time his actions perfectly to trap the Swarm inside the generator, but escaping himself. Once the Swarm is trapped, the player must shoot it with the Pulse Cannon. In this first instance, the player can wait to shoot the Swarm until he's already reached the second generator platform, making it easier to get the Swarm into the second generator without it catching up with him. Once the Swarm has been shot in the second generator, there's still one more to go, but there's no opportunity to shoot from a distance this time. The player must shoot and then run as fast as he can to the third generator platform. After trapping the Swarm there, he shoots it once more with the Pulse Cannon to kill it. After defeating the Swarm, the player must reunite with Dr. Malikov.Resistance Fall of a Wiki: The Swarm
