Resistance 2 Review

This page is a comprehensive catalogue of reviews for Resistance 2, a first-person shooter developed by Insomniac Games exclusively for the PS3. The game takes place directly after the events of the previous game with players continuing the story from the perspective of Nathan Hale, who is now the acting lieutenant of Echo Squad. Critical Reception

Initial reviews for Resistance 2 have been positive thus far. The game received high marks from Jeff Haynes, a writer at IGN, who claimed that it surpassed its predecessor in practically every way from the single-player campaign to the cooperative and competitive multi-player components. Thierry Nguyen of 1up.com also praised the game for its numerous locales, large-scale boss fights, new weapons and inspired art direction, but criticized the lack of co-op support in the single-player campaign.
