  • Critical Reception

    Initial reviews for Resistance 2 have been positive thus far. The game received high marks from Jeff Haynes, a writer at IGN, who claimed that it surpassed its predecessor in practically every way from the single-player campaign to the cooperative and competitive multi-player components. Thierry Nguyen of 1up.com also praised the game for its numerous locales, large-scale boss fights, new weapons and inspired art direction, but criticized the lack of co-op support in the single-player campaign.
