In Resistance 2 the Marauder is a boss monster. This huge enemy resembles a T-Rex and fires saliva that catches on fire when it comes into contact with any object. Using the LAARK rocket launcher is crucial in taking it down.

Battle Strategies
After getting the radio call alerting you about the Marauder incoming, grab the LAARK and Marksman lying on the ground. Then head down to the balcony and you should encounter the Marauder.The Marauder spits out a deadly necrotoxin that lights anything it touches on fire, including your body. The flames spread through the air and on the house where you're standing. If you get hit by necrotoxin, shake the controller to quickly wipe out the flames.
Switch to the LAARK, and take aim at the Marauder. Unload all your ammo on the boss and it will still be alive, but weakened.
From there, switch to your secondary weapon. Get in as many shots as you can while dodging the necrotoxin blasts. Keep chipping away at the Marauder and eventually it'll come crashing down in defeat.Resistance Fall of a Wiki: Marauder
