In Resistance 2 the Kraken fight is a boss fight with two parts. In the first, the you must dodge the Kraken's breath attacks, and in the second, its tentacle attacks. The Kraken is an amphibious monster with sharp teeth, poisonous breath that can kill in seconds and tentacles that pierce through metal.

The Kraken will break down a steel door and begin its attack. Equip the Pulse Cannon and shoot it in the head. Then quickly take cover behind the nearby crates. Wait for the Pulse Cannon to recharge while hiding behind cover, and then peek out when it's safe and fire off another shot at the Kraken. Watch out for its poisonous breath. After three shots the Kraken will retreat.
As you head toward a landing pad to get picked up by a helicopter, you'll come across a Pulse Cannon. Pick it up, and head toward the helicopter. The Kraken will appear and prevent it from landing and forcing you to fight it once more. This time, however, there's no cover and the Kraken will attack by jabbing its tentacles at you. Dodge them by strafing to the best of your ability while firing off Pulse Cannon shots, and after ten or so hits, the Kraken will fall.Resistance Fall of a Wiki: Kraken
