In Resistance 2 Intels are collectible files hidden throughout levels of the game. They provide secret backstory and information on the weapons in the game.
Resistance 2 Co-Op Campaign

Resistance 2 features a unique co-op campaign that combines elements of games like Team Fortress 2, Modern Warfare and World of Warcraft. Players can choose from three different classes: Soldier, Special Ops and Medic. Each class fulfills a certain role with the team: Soldiers take damage and defend the team, Special Ops do damage and Medics heal. Soldiers are equipped with large miniguns, Medics with a healgun similar to the Team Fortress 2 Medic's, and can also revive allies. Using each classes' abilities together is key to defeating enemies.
Each class gains experience points (also gained during the single-player campaign and can customize their look and arsenal. Enemy encounters include boss fights and skirmishes with large numbers of Chimera.

Resistance 2 Intels
1. Intel 1: Before joining up with Blake, go to the catwalk opposite and walk along it until you hit a dead end, where you'll find a metal suitcase containing the first Intel.
2. Intel 2: While walking down the corridor out of the base and into the airfield, hold off on going through the exit on the right side of the hallway. Instead, keep going to the end to find the second Intel. This Intel tells of a Chimeran shipyard found in Germany and a planned attack.
3. Intel 3: In the base, between two pieces of heavy machinery in a green-tinted room. Get it before evacuating. Contains info about a loose cannon officer named Joseph Capelli.
4. Intel 4: There's a briefcase lying next to the feet of a dead body in the 4C Generator room. Intel contains a file about Nathan Hale saying that his body is resisting serum and that he should be pulled from active duty,
5. Intel 5: Inside the right control room lying on top of the control deck. Intel is info about Specialist Hawthorne.
6. Intel 6: In the last barrack, to the right. Submerged in the water next to a dead body. Contains info about operating Hale's flashlight.
7. Intel 7: Lying on top of a console in the Research Wing.
8. Intel 8: Picked up on the way to the landing pad, on the ground to the right of the ramp leading up to VTOL. Has info on Sergeant Warner.
9. Intel 9: Before entering the creek near the Logging House, look for a cocoon near the rear right wheel of a truck. Bust it open with your melee attack to find an Intel: a newspaper report about a defense tower in Ohio.
10. Intel 10: In the hotel, found past the radio and near the TV and tricycle. Inside is a distress telegram.
11. Intel 11: In between two military trucks near the diner. A newspaper article about the President's sudden death on Christmas Eve.
12. Intel 12: While searching the house for survivors, stop before heading into the garage to find an Intel lying near a car in the driveway. Intel contains another distress telegram calling for help.
13. Intel 13: Before heading up to the second level of the house, look for an Intel to the left of the doorway in the parlor. Contains a letter from Warner to his wife.
14. Intel 14: On the path were the team finds some dead scientists there's a supply tent that contains some ammo and an Intel. The Intel contains an entry from a research journal.
15. Intel 15: When attacked by the swarm, hide out in the side tunnel, where you'll find another Intel with another entry from a research journal.
16. Intel 16: After exiting the Daedelus chamber, make a detour to the left where you'll find a dead soldier on the ground and an Intel. It contains a classified file about Daedelus.
17. Intel 17: In Chicago, at the end of a narrow hallway found after the large enemy assault. Intel is a report about Joseph Cappelli's unstable personality.
18. Intel 18: In Iceland, on the opposite side of the locker room, next to a dead body. A report about a ancient technology found in a Chimeran tower in Chicago.
19. Intel 19: Found near the LAARK discovered before the Marauder encounter. Contains a journal entry by Malikov.
20. Intel 20: On the next to last floor of the Riverboat. Take a right after the staircase, head toward the other side of the boat, take a left into the first room. The Intel is lying next to a dead body, and contains a memo from Malikov describing the true history of the Chimera.
