Resistance 2 Bosses

There are six bosses in Resistance 2 the PS3-exclusive first-person shooter developed by Insomniac Games and released on November 4, 2008.

1. Kraken - Amphibian with tentacles and poisonous breath
2. Titan - Colossal strength and a tough hide
3. Mother Spinner - Insect-like with a scorpion tail, sprays venom and births Leapers
4. Swarm - Hundreds of small flying robots
5. Leviathan - A 300-foot tall monstrosity found in Chicago
6. Marauder - Stands on rear legs like a T. rex

According to Insomniac President and CEO Ted Price, bosses typically aren't found in first-person shooters because the "run and gun" mechanics don't work well with bosses. In Resistance 2, the mysterious race known as Chimera, who previously overwhelmed Russia and Europe in just four weeks, have now turned their sights on America. The game follows Nathan Hale, the main protagonist of Resistance: Fall of Man, who is resistant to the Chimeran virus and its resultant mutations. Nathan joins the Sentinels, a group of soldiers like him, and is tasked with defending North American as the Chimera launch a flanking attack on the continent.
