Tricell Pharmaceuticals is the fictional corporation behind the Progenitor Virus outbreak in Resident Evil 5.The company was founded by the Travis family Travis family, and at the time the game takes place, Excella Gionne is currently running the operations.
A major competitor to the Umbrella Corporation, much of Tricell's background history is still unknown.
The Umbrella Corporation was the cause of the T-Virus and G-Virus outbreaks in earlier Resident Evil titles and has been a name referenced in every Resident Evil release.
