A sub-boss from Resident Evil 4 called El Gigante also makes appearances in Resident Evil 5. These creatures have gained some bulk since the last video game, and there may be points in the game where players can fight Gigante from a vehicle. Gigante in RE4
Leon fights several Gigante through his journey in Resident Evil 4. The first one he encounters is in front of a church after some other creature let it go. Leon has help from a dog during this battle, if it was freed earlier in the game. There is another Gigante in a steep ravine, where a large boulder can come in handy. Leon also encounters two Gigante further along in the game, and can drop one into a blast furnace, so he can face the other one by itself.Resident Evil Wiki: El Gigante-
