    The first DLC for Resident Evil 5 will add two online multiplayer modes:

    1. Slayer's Rule
    2. Survivor's Rule

    Each of the modes will be playable by up to four players. Slayer's Rule is a point-based game that challenges players to kill Majinis, while Survivor's Rule challenges players to hunt each other.   • Other Multiplayer

    Resident Evil 5 does offer multiplayer options right out of the box. There is both online and offline cooperative play available throughout the entire story, as well as the unlockable Mercenaries Mode, a timed cooperative mode that can be played both online and offline. The goal in this mode is to score the highest amount of points while surviving waves of enemies.
