    In order to address the amount of criticism Capcom received During E3 2008, Capcom received criticism about Resident Evil 5's control scheme, which many critics felt was archaic and no different from Resident Evil 4. Jun Takeuchi announced that the development team would be making adjustments to the game's controls and these would be demo'd for the first time at the Tokyo Game Show.
