About the Game
Players control members of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) in Africa. Pursue the familiar enemy Albert Wesker as well as the new nemesis Excella Gionne. Gionne is a relative of the founder of the Tricell Corporation and in control of the African branch of their operations.There will be multiplayer modes to go along with the single-player storyline, and players can use drop-in/drop-out mechanics through the single-player campaign either online or through system link.

6-2: Main Deck

- Sell your treasure in the inventory screen. Upgrade the shotgun's capacity once. This fully upgrades the shotgun, unlocking the Hydra from the store. It's a powerful gun with great stopping power, but you'll likely want to stick with the Ithaca for the remainder of the game.
- Upgrade Sheva's rifle once and stock up a couple of First Aid Sprays, then start the mission.
- Head downstairs and out into the clearing. You'll see a cutscene.
- A giant battle with a mutated Excella awaits. After the first cutscene, you'll have to respond to several button prompts when you see Chris and Sheva running.
- First, tap X to dodge. Then dodge with A, X, and A again.
- When you get down the stairs, press LT and RT to climb. Tap A repeatedly to escape the monster for now.
- You're now inside. As you move through the hallway, be ready to press X to duck, just before you reach the Green Herb down one of the hallways.
- Around the next corner, you'll have to dodge again with X. Turn right at the first room.
- In here, you can look inside the two lockers at the corner for some ammo and a Chalice (Gold).
- Now, head through the room on the other side and turn left. Be ready to hit X again.
- Go down the hall and through the door on your left. Check the lockers as you move through the next two rooms, then go through the next door.
- Turn left when you exit the door and be ready to duck again.
- Go upstairs. Bypass the first hallway on your left and go into the next door on your left. Get supplies in here, including another Chalice (Gold) in one of the lockers.
- Go out the door you came from and turn left. As you move through the next hallway, you'll see bodies of Majini on the ground. Get your shotgun out.
- The first enemy you see will come from around the corner. Shoot him, then do a quick turn and blast the now-materialized enemies. One of these foes will sprout an armored growth. Run into the next room on your left.
- This enemy will follow, so you can deal with it in here. Keep your distance and fire when it opens its head up. Killing it will give you the Bridge Keycard. Use it on the door in this room.
- Go through the hallway and up the stairs. Look for supplies in this large control room. Before you head up the far stairs, read the document on the wall which tells you how to operate a satellite laser. Then, go through the door at the top of the stairs.

- Go around the corner to your left and through the next door. Here, you'll confront the giant monster.
- The laser targeting device is on the wall behind you. Press X to use the keycard, providing access to the device.
- Pick it up. When Sheva says she's got your back, hold LT to start targeting the monster.
- You want to aim for the orange bulbs. Keep your sight trained on one of these targets until you see the words "Lock On," then press RT.
- Get out your machine gun and Chris will automatically drop the laser targeting weapon. Shoot the small black growths that appear on the deck.
- If you don't see the words "Charging" on your status icon, you're good to fire another shot. Aim like you did last time at one of the bulbs and fire.
- You'll see a brief cutscene of the creature getting more ferocious. Get the machine gun out again and start blasting growths on the ground.
- The trick is to actually fire at the large bulb that appears when the smaller ones are popped. You should now use conventionally weapons, such as the pistol or machine gun, to shoot the smaller bulbs.
- Once they're destroyed, you'll see the creature's tentacles spiraling up towards the sky. Grab the laser targeting device and aim for the big orange bulb. Fire when you see the words "Lock On."
- There's not much more to it than this. Be on the lookout for button prompts, where you'll have to dodge the lunge of the creature. Also, there are lots of weapons and health that appear on the deck. You can build up a nice stockpile by collecting everything you see.
- Hit the large bulb three times to kill the boss for good, setting you up for the final mission in the game.
