About the Game
Players control members of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) in Africa. Pursue the familiar enemy Albert Wesker as well as the new nemesis Excella Gionne. Gionne is a relative of the founder of the Tricell Corporation and in control of the African branch of their operations.There will be multiplayer modes to go along with the single-player storyline, and players can use drop-in/drop-out mechanics through the single-player campaign either online or through system link.

5-3: Uroboros Research Facility

- Sell your treasure and replenish your stock of First Aid Spray. It's best to have three, so you can use one at the start of the level to regain lost health.
- Upgrade Chris's shotgun capacity once, then start the mission.
- BSAA EMBLEM: Exit the boss room through the door on the north side. When you come through the door, look to the fan on the right, and you'll see it between the spinning fan blades. Time your shot to get the emblem.
- TREASURE: Go up the ladder in the fan room and go straight. You'll reach a small room, with a safe to your left. Open it to get the Sapphire (Marquise). You can also get some ammo in this room.
- Go back towards the fan room and take the path on the left. You'll have an easy climb up some stairs, leading to a door.
- In the next room, go through the short hallway and grab some supplies from the table on your right. Then, turn around and follow the path ahead. Go through the door on your right when you reach it.
- On the other side, turn right and grab the supplies at the end of the path. Then, take cover against the wall facing outward and use your pistol to shoot the enemies on the other side of the room.
- Once they're defeated, follow the path around, stopping first in the room to your left for some supplies. Get your shotgun out before you go back outside.
- You'll have to deal with a Reaper as you're moving to the other side of this area. Retreat slightly, then start blasting with the shotgun. Keep shooting until the Reaper goes down.
- Before crossing the gap, wait for enemies. A couple will come from the path ahead, so shoot them with the pistol when they get close.
- Get your machine gun out, then jump the gap. Around the next corner, another Reaper will drop from the ceiling. Use your machine gun to shoot him in the heart. Don't forget to collect the Power Stone from its body.
- As you reach the next intersection, look down the path to your left and shoot the far Majini with your machine gun or pistol. There's one more to your right, near the objective marker.
- Before heading to the marker, go down the long hall and through the door. Inside this room is a bounty of ammo in crates, plus a weapons case with the PSG-1 Rifle. You've already collected this, so it's not necessary to clutter your inventory.
- Go back to the objective point. Three enemies, including a Big Man Majini, will appear on the opposite platform, moving towards you. Use the machine gun to kill the weaker enemies first. Switch to the shotgun when the Big Man gets close.
- If you have any extra machine gun ammo, give it to Sheva, then pull the lever to get her moving.
- Use your pistol to help Sheva fight the enemies as she sends the platform back your way. As soon as it reaches you, get on.
- Switch to the machine gun as you get closer, then use the shotgun to finish off the two enemies.
- Take the path on the right, where you jump over a small gap, to get some supplies. Then, take the opposite path.
- As you start moving, you'll see a cutscene showing some Majini. Retreat back so you're behind the middle structure with the enemies to the south. Wait behind one of the side beams and let the first enemies come to you.
- One of these foes has grenades strapped to his chest. Keep him at a distance by using your shotgun to blast him back, then finish him off on the ground with the machine gun or pistol.
- Once these enemies are defeated, dash along the platform on your left. Get to a wall where you're sheltered from the rocket enemies and fight the melee enemies ahead. Once they're defeated, use your pistol to kill the rocket-wielders, alternating between each one to stun them.
- Get your shotgun out when you reach the green door ahead. Open it, and start blasting the enemies inside. Keep shooting until these last few foes are defeated.
- TREASURE: Inside this room is the Royal Necklace, on a counter.

- Exit this room on the south side and head through the door at the end of the path.
- Grab supplies as you head down to the next room full of experiment subjects. Locate the green computer screen on the outer rim of the platform, and press B on one side to activate it.
- The platform will start moving up, and you'll see a few enemies below. It's pointless to attack them. Just stay on the inner part of the platform so they can't hit you.
- Eventually, a few enemies will stop the platform from moving upward. They're on a plank in the direction of the objective arrow. Grab Sheva's rifle, along with some ammo, and give her your fully-loaded pistol, but no ammo. Kill the lever operator to keep moving.
- BSAA EMBLEM: That plank has the emblem resting on the ground. Once you kill the lever operator, you'll move up enough to hit it, but it's quite difficult because you're moving. Wait until the enemies on the next level slow the gears once more and you'll an easier time, but it's still no picnic.
- You'll find the next lever operator slightly below you, on a plank to the west side. Hit him and ignore the others to keep moving up.
- Stay near the middle of the platform as you move towards the top. When the enemies appear at the platform above, keep the center column between you and them, peaking out from the right side to gradually snipe each enemy.
- Once they're all defeated, get your pistol back and give Sheva the rifle. Head up the stairs and along the path. Go through the door at the end.
- TREASURE: Walk the path leading towards some ruins in the next room. Just in front of the last lamp on the ceiling before you reach the main area, there's a glimmering object above. Shoot it down and collect the Ruby (Brilliant).
- Go to the right side and grab some supplies in front of the small room.
- BSAA EMBLEM: On the west side of the room, there's an elevator shaft, but do not pull the lever yet. Instead, go around to the west wall and look back into the shaft. You'll see the emblem slightly below ground level.
- Now, have Sheva pull the lever to call the elevator. Give her any machine gun ammo you have. Make sure you have grenades in your arsenal, then hop on board. Sheva will activate the elevator for you.
- You'll have to deal with several Lickers up here, but if you move slowly, they only come in small groups. Shoot the first couple with your shotgun, then move forward.
- When the next group appears, stay back so the chain link fence is just in front you you. You should have enough room to hit the first one with your machine gun just before it comes around the corner ahead. Do the same for the second one, but switch to your shotgun if it gets close.
- Now, make a dash to the end of the path, where you see a large blue crate. Hold X and press forward to start pushing it. You should be able to make it all the way to the end before the Lickers catch up.

- Jump down onto the roof of the small building, then drop inside through the hole. Open the door and press B to summon Sheva. Let the door close.
- If any Lickers drop through the roof, take care of them first with your shotgun. Then, open the door and toss out a grenade at the remaining enemies waiting outside.
- Finish the enemies off with your shotgun. When the creepy music subsides, you've defeated them all. Go back to the roof via the ladder inside for some supplies.
- TREASURE: Inside the room are three lockers. All three have something valuable inside, but the far left one contains the Chalice (Gold).
- Pull the lever inside this room. That lowers the big bridge outside, allowing you to cross.
- TREASURE: After you cross the bridge, shoot the glimmering object on the ceiling. Collect the Topaz (Brilliant) when it falls.
- Make sure you have any remaining health in your possession, then head through the door.
- There are five TREASURES you can collect in the battle with Jill and Wesker. First, get the Emerald (Brilliant) located in a pot on the east balcony, easily accessible via the stairs on the right.
- Now, go downstairs and investigate the east door. Wesker will kick you inside, giving access to a path upstairs. Run through this path to the northwest room. When you're in here, look to your right for a small pot containing the Sapphire (Oval). Now, go around the corner and open the sarcophagus for the Sapphire (Brilliant) and the Emerald (Oval).
- To get the Heart of Africa, you must do enough damage to Wesker to make him leave early before seven minutes are up. It's also easy enough to hide for seven minutes, but we'll tell you how to do it the hard way.
- After you've collected the other treasures, meet Wesker in the center arena. Arm your shotgun and point it right towards him. Don't bother shooting yet, as he'll just dodge.
- There are three main types of attacks Wesker will perform when you're near him. Here's how to respond to each:
- If he pulls out a gun, you'll be prompted to press X to dodge. You can also fire at Wesker to stop him from shooting. There are no attacks to do in this instance.
- If he lowers his shoulders, shoot him just as he begins charging in your direction. He'll move right past. Immediately after, you'll have to hit X to perform a counterattack.
- Any other gesture he makes is likely a kick of some sort. Shoot just as he's starting the motion, and he'll stagger back, stunned. Shoot him two more times, then rush in. You'll be prompted to follow with a hook, so press X.
- That's it. Pulling off enough successful attacks isn't easy, but there's not much more to it than reacting quickly. Once you've hit him enough times, he'll lower to the ground. Find Jill and Sheva, approach them and press X to finish the battle.

- Wesker will depart, but Jill remains. Before fighting, collect the Heart of Africa, which you'll find in front of the two staircases.
- Now, you'll have to save Jill from her trance, but a special procedure is required to get the "Masters of Removing" Achievement.
- Start by approaching JIll -- but not too close, so you can avoid her kicks -- and press X to plead with her.
- Eventually, Jill will be stunned and you'll see sparks coming from the device. Get around behind her and press X to take hold.
- Tap B to keep Jill restrained while Sheva shoots the device. You'll now have an opportunity to tap A and remove it, but don't do it. Instead, wait for the prompt of X to dodge.
- Now, keep entreating Jill by pressing X. Wait for Sheva to grab Jill from behind. Approach and press X to start pulling, then tap A.
- You may have to do this a couple of times, but after enough pulling, the device will come off, ending the mission and getting you the achievement.

I would just like to add another helpful hint concerning the second B.S.A.A. emblem you come across referred to above in Pt. 2 #5. You DO NOT have to wait until you are on the rotating platform before you are able to see/shoot it.
If you stop right at the bottom of the descending staircase the platform should be directly ahead of you. When you equip your sniper rifle of choice and zoom in you can actually SEE the emblem and shoot it thus eliminating the hard part of having to compensate for the moving platform.
