2-2: Train Station
- YouTube: Resident Evil 5 Walkthrough - Train Station Pt 1 (Time: 8:38)
- Before starting the mission, sell all your treasure and organize your inventory. We chose the following load out: Chris has the pistol, shotgun and MP5 machine gun, plus grenades and first aid. Sheva has the pistol and rifle, grenades and herbs. Sell any other weapons to leave room for other acquisitions.
- We also upgraded Chris's pistol and shotgun firepower twice, MP5 firepower once, increased the shotgun capacity once, increased the MP5's piercing ability once and upgraded Sheva's pistol once, just for good measure.
- After starting the mission, grab the herb off the table behind you, then face the big table in the middle of the room. If you're curious, read the document on the table to learn more about Type 2 Plagas.
- Sweep the rest of the room for supplies, then head out the brown door on the left-hand side.
- BSAA EMBLEM: After you exit the room, go to the first train car and turn around. There's a large tower behind the room, containing the emblem. Borrow Sheva's rifle to shoot it.
- After you walk between the first two train cars, you'll face a pack of dogs. Stay back, because the area ahead is booby trapped. Your pistol is now powerful enough to take them down with a couple of shots each.

- Watch out for the booby traps as pass the second train car. More dogs will come through, so stay back and allow them to trip the trap, then finish the survivors off with your pistol.
- Work your way down to the end of the path and grab the ammo from the barbed wire fence, then go back to the series of crates behind the second train car. Hop up, and climb the ladder. Take down any Majini on top of the trains, then hop to the third train car.
- When you reach the adjoining car, be sure to shoot out the booby trap ahead. Then, move forward and hop down the other side.
- You'll land in a mine car. Be ready to shoot out another booby trap as you slide forward. At the end, hop out and activate the elevator.
- At the bottom, you'll find a lantern just ahead of the starting point. Ask Sheva to pick it up by pressing B.
- Stay close to Sheva as you move ahead. Go right at the fork and grab the Herb, then go left to continue your trek through the mines.
- There are a couple of Majini ahead. The first is easy -- just blast him with your pistol. The second will spring tentacles from its head, so finish it off with your shotgun. HINT: Sometimes it's best to use different weapons in order to keep each stocked with at least some ammo. Use a shotgun and machine gun combo to kill the tentacled enemy with this strategy.
- At the next fork, look to your right. There are a couple more Majini here, and the second springs tentacles too, so use the same procedure as before.
- BSAA EMBLEM: As you cross the bridge, look to your right. The emblem is behind the waterfall.
- As you reach the next fork, you'll have a few more enemies to deal with. Start off with the pistol, then move to the shotgun to kill the last tentacled enemy. The paths converge, but be sure to check each one for some much-needed ammo.
- Keep going along the path, and kill the lone enemy in a small pocket to your left.
- TREASURE: As you approach the well-lit area, veer off to the left. There's a side tunnel here that you can take to a secret stash room. Open the treasure chest to reveal the Diamond (Oval).
- Go to the crank and command Sheva to open it. Once you get through, turn back and help her fend off some attacking Majini. Use your pistol to shoot through the bars.
- Now, head into the large room and press X to handle the crank. Rotate the thumbstick in any direction to open the gate for Sheva.
- A large group of enemies will storm the area. Retreat to the gate you came from, as this will shield you from snipers above and bottleneck the enemies on the ground.
- Here's a good place to use the Flash Grenades you likely picked up earlier. Toss it at the crowd to stun them, then step back and use a regular grenade to deal massive damage. Finish off the rest of the ground enemies with your shotgun and machine gun.
- When you step back into the main room, there are still a few snipers on high perches to deal with. You can use the pistol, or grab Sheva's rifle to pick them off.
- Search for ammo and Herbs as you climb up each level of this room. Head back into the caves using the entrance on the far right side.
- When you reach the fork, look to the left. You'll see a Majini holding a stick of dynamite. Shoot him in the chest to stun him, and the dynamite will blow him up. Now, take the path on the right.
- At the next group of enemies, alternate shooting between the two that are holding crossbows. This will stun them, preventing them from firing at you. Stay back, so the guy behind them doesn't hit you with his dynamite.
- Once you've defeated these enemies, continue along the path and head up on the elevator. Outside, grab the Herb and weapons on the ground, then go up the stairs to meet Irving.
- After the cutscene, look in the locker in the southwest corner of the room for a Dragunov SVD rifle. Grab this (you may have to use some health or discard grenades to make room).
- Now, look out the west window to fight the incoming Majini. You can take cover behind the window by pressing X.
- Use the Dragunov to kill the Majini manning a mounted turret, as this poses the greatest threat. HINT: Chris' unsteady aim makes it tough to nail the shot. Point the gun in the vicinity of the Majini, and wait until the motion of the gun lines up with the Majini's head, then fire.
- A couple of the Majini will try to man the once the first one falls. Stay in our position and pick them off as they try to do this. Then, you can move downstairs from inside the cabin and approach their position.
- ALTERNATE STRATEGY: If your sniping skills aren't up to the task, you can use flash grenades to blind the Majini. This will allow you to get close and neutralize the turret gunners.
- TREASURE: Once you've killed the Majini outside the building, take the far left ladder up to the small ledge. To your left, there's a treasure chest containing the Diamond (Brilliant), good for $4,000 in gold.
- TREASURE: Continue moving to the right along the cliff path. Run straight to the small green hut to take cover from the Majini throwing dynamite. Stand at the doorway and look up near the top of the ladder outside. Just to the right, there's a flashing white Diamond (Pear). Shoot it down with your pistol, then grab it.
- YouTube: Resident Evil 5 Walkthrough - Train Station Pt 3 (Time: 9:53)
- Head up the ladder. As soon as you reach the top, look to the right. Shoot the Majini with the pistol.
- BSAA EMBLEM: Arm a rifle and look back towards the buildings you came from. The emblem is against the wall on the second of the three staggered buildings.
- Move forward, then hop down the next ladder. Jump off this ledge and continue along the cliff path.
- A substantial number of zombies will ambush the team. When you reach the broken ladder, help Sheva up with an assist jump, then immediately move forward along the cliff wall. Shoot the first Majini you see, then keep moving.
- You'll meet back up with Sheva again. Stand with her in a position where you can see Majini coming from both the upper and lower ramps. Use your pistol to shoot them from afar, and switch to the shotgun when they get close. You want to focus on the Majini with dynamite first, as they can deal the most damage.
- TREASURE: Once you've defeated the Majini in this area, go down the ladder that Sheva came from. Look to the left of this ladder, and you'll see the Diamond (Square) on the wall. Shoot it down and pick it up.
- Keep moving up the cliff and along the path until you reach the dumpster. Stand on the short side of it, so you're facing the chasm. Press B to push it off the cliff.
- Load up with supplies at the area ahead, then hop down the ladder. You'll be confronted by a giant, scorpion-like beast.
- Look for Proximity Bombs scattered around this area. These are key to defeating the boss with little fuss.
- Once you've got a bomb, run past the beast, then plant it with LT when you've gained some distance. If the boss steps on it, it'll flip over on its back. Run around to its back side and use the shotgun to blast the red part of the beast's tail.
- There are two types of attacks you'll have to defend against. If the beast spits venom, quickly shake the left thumbstick to break free. The beast will also perform lunge attacks, which you can dodge by pressing X. However, this is difficult to pull of, so it's best to keep your distance when possible.
- If you run out of proximity bombs, run behind the boss while Sheva is distracting it and press Down and A to perform a quick turn. Use your machine gun or shotgun to take a few shots at the beast.
- Defeat this boss, and you'll complete Chapter 2-2.
