Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 is a 2005 survival-horror game developed by Capcom, and the twelfth game in the Resident Evil series. Unlike previous entries in the series, Resident Evil 4 plays more like a third-person shooter, utilizing a new laser sighting system. The game was subsequently released on the PS2, PC and Wii.

In the game you play as Leon S. Kennedy, a former Raccoon City police officer and one of the main protagonists from Resident Evil 2. Leon is recruited by the government and sent a European village to search for the President's missing daughter Ashley Graham, who was reportedly spotted there. The village is overrun villagers-turned-zombies, referred to as Los Ganados. With the assistance of Ada Wong, who Leon meets along the way, Leon must unearth the mystery of the “Los Illuminados” cult, and rescue Ashley before it's too late.

Resident Evil 4 is a survival-horror game like its predecessors, but features two significant changes: the gameplay has been overhauled to play more as a fast-paced shooter, and the zombies (called “Los Ganados” in the game) are drastically smarter and more aggressive. This alters the feel of the game from a more slow-paced, “survival” affair to a frantic shootout, where body count is very high and you fight large mobs of enemies at once. The guns in the game have been equipped with laser sighting, making it easier to precise aim.
