Controversy
Following the debate, CNN was accused of allowing several questions from voters known to support Democratic presidential candidates, who introduced issues such as gays in the military, farm subsidies, abortion, and lead toys from China. CNN apologized for any appearance of bias and said that they would not have used any questions from anyone known to support an opposing candidate. -

- Giuliani: Defends himself, stating that he's a fan of the American league. He goes on to say that when he was the mayor of New York, the Yankees won 4 World Series, and have not won since he left office.
- Romney: "The only thing better than winning the series, is winning it against the Yankees."
