Reporters Without Borders (RWB) is an organization that advocates the freedom of the press. Founded in 1985, the RWB has defended journalists wrongly imprisoned, has been an opponent of censorship, and has worked to establish guidelines that have improved safety conditions for journalist.Official Website: About RWB
On May 4, 2009, the RWB staged a hunger strike outside the United Nations's headquarters in New York City for the release of journalist Roxana Saberi.
