Rena Sofer played brassy record promoter Lois Cerullo for just three years on daytime soap opera General Hospital but she was a huge fan favorite and won the 1995 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Since then, she has moved into prime time, trying her hand at comedic roles such as in the lead role of Susan on NBC's American remake of the British television show Coupling, and on Just Shoot Me. She has fared better on dramatic programs, with turns on 24 and Heroes.
