Remi Ayodele

Remi (short for Remilekun) Ayodele is an American football defensive tackle in the NFL listed as being 6 ft. 2 in. tall and weighs 300 lbs. He was born on April 22, 1983 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He is the younger brother of NFL linebacker Akin Ayodele. Remi’s mother is Jessica Ojomo. He played college football at Oklahoma University and majored in Sociology. He was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 8, 2006. He eventually keep on signing with different teams after being released by one. Remi played in 15 games and started 13 of those games. During the 2009 regular season for the Saints. He accumulated 30 tackles with 18 being solo. He had 1.5 sacks that resulted in a total of one yard loss. He also scored a defensive touchdown. Remi started in both the NFC Divisional Game and the NFC Conference Game. Remi played in six games as a reserve during the 2008 regular season for the Saints. He registered seven tackles with two being solo. After starting the season on the practice squad, he was signed to join the active roster on October 4, 2008. He made his Saints debut versus Minnesota two days later. Remi played seven games during the 2007 regular season for the Dallas Cowboys. Yet, he only spent most of the season on their active roster and managed to record five tackles, four being solo.
