  • Football Career

    Prior to playing in the NFL, Wells played college football with the Clarion Golden Eagles in the NCAA. He started all four seasons, earning All-American and All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honors two times.     Wells made his professional debut with the Cardinals in 2003, playing in 15 games. He earned a starting spot in 2004, then was limited to only nine games in 2005 after suffering a broken ankle.
