Regen: The movie
Warning, spoilers ahead, don't read on if you want to be surprised when watching the movie.
In the short we see an empty road. After a short pause, an explosion detonates in the far distance, and a car rushes towards the camera. As the car passes by the camera at high speed, the camera swings around, struggling to align the image again. Then we see the car is being chased by a police-car. The two drive at high speed though the upcoming traffic. The chased car pulls some close take-overs, but can't keep its wheels on the road, and flips when passing a huge truck.
As the car tumbles to a halt, the police car halts nearby.
In a next scene, a policeman approaches the car, gun drawn, but the car is empty. That's when the scene shifts back to the truck, and we see a woman hanging by the side of the truck. As she climbs on the top of the truck, she immediately gets attacked by a man swinging a huge chained ball. The woman defends herself using a gadget boomerang, which also features as long-range weapon. A fierce battle between the two commences, and ends with the woman getting squashed by the cannonball.
In the final scene, we see two cops standing by the body of the woman. They discuss what might have happened. The movie ends in a surprising finale.
