Easy Recipe
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
- Bring beans to a boil in a saucepan
- Strain liquid
- Put mash beans, you can use an electricblender
- Fold in onion, butter and salt
- Return mixture to saucepan on low heat, stir until heated thoroughly
- Stir in grated cheddar cheese
Note: This along with green chilis, cheese and salsa makes a great filling for burritos.
