• A source close to the couple revealed that actress Reese Witherspoon and actor Jake Gyllenhaal are set to become formally engaged any time now. The couple's rep's however, are not confirming the claim. Gyllenhaal has reportedly been shopping for the perfect engagement ring for his bride to be. The couple met during the filming of Rendition in 2007. They have been spotted several times together looking very much in love. Rumors surfaced earlier this year that the couple was engaged, but the rumors turned out to be false. Witherspoon married actor Ryan Phillippe on June 5, 1999. After a seven year marriage, the couple announced their separation in October of 2006. Their divorce became final on October 5, 2007.
