Red Vines are a corn syrup-based licorice twist candy that come in a variety of flavors and sizes. Red Vines Original Twists are sometimes referred to as red licorice.

Red Vines: In the Beginning
When Red Vines were first introduced in 1952, they came in only in raspberry flavor. The formula was altered into the Original Red version. Red Vines are often compared to Twizzlers, however, the two candies are very different. Red Vines are thicker and chewier with a sweeter taste.
