Red Steel 2

Red Steel 2 is a modern First-Person Shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft. The game is available only on Nintendo Wii and was released on March 23, 2010, being rated T for Teen. The action takes place in a city from Nevada dessert, known as Caldera.

Ubisoft, the developer and the publisher of this game is a company founded in 1986. Their headquarters is in Montreuil-sous-Bois, France and one of the biggest games released were developed and published by them. In the small town of Caldera, a clan known as Kusagari is protecting the people. The main character, also known as The Swordsman, is a member of this clan and is returning to his town after he was banished for 5 years. Seems like the town is changed now because a new clan stepped in: the Jackals. Led by Payne, they took control over the peaceful town, and the Kusagari are gone. The player takes the role of the Swordsman and from a first-person perspective he will fight his enemies using a sword and a gun. With the Wii MotionPlus, he can fight up to 6 players in the same time, perform different combos, parry or deflect bullets with the sword. An interesting aspect is that the harder the player swings the Wii MotionPlus, the harder the Swordsman will hit his enemies. Red Steel 2 is the sequel of Red Steel, a video game released on November 19, 2006. As of June 2010, Ubisoft made no official announcements regarding a follow up to this game.
