  At 17, Red Sonja lost her family to a pack of thieves. They killed her parents and her two brothers and took all that they owned. A goddess, Scathach, granted Red Sonja powerful sword and weaponry skills to seek out her revenge. • The Chain Mail Bikini

  Red Sonja was originally illustrated with a chain mail shirt and red shorts. A Spanish artist, named Esteban Maroto, submitted a drawing of Red Sonja that inspired her current outfit.
