  • There are a variety of weapons available in Red Faction Guerrilla, the first-person shooter developed by Volition, Inc. for release on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on June 9, 2009.
  • The Weapons

    There are multiple weapons available in Red Faction Guerrilla, including the standard array of first-person weaponry: pistol, shotgun, assault rifle and the sledgehammer. Some of the more exotic include the Arc Welder, a short-range energy weapon, and the Thermobaric Rocket.   • The Ostrich Hammer

    In February 2008, images of a pre-alpha version of Red Faction: Guerrilla were leaked on the internet. One of the screenshots showed a soldier wielding a hammer whose shape resembled an bird's head and neck.     For April Fools' Day, developer Volition revealed a new weapon called the Ostrich Hammer. Reactions to the joke were so positive that it was decided to make the Ostrich Hammer a real weapon in the game.
