April 23, 2009: A demo for the first-person shooter Red Faction Guerrilla was released for download from Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The demo was originally only available to those who preordered the game. About the Game
Red Faction Guerrilla is the third title in a series of first-person shooters that first appeared in 2001 on the PC and PS2. Guerrilla takes place some 50 years after the events of the first game. The Ultor Corporation has been overthrown by the Earth Defense Force's Red Faction unit. But of course the Mars mining colony would not remain peaceful for long. The EDF set up command bases across the planet and soon the inhabitants began to resent the heavy-handed control of their former saviors. Colonist work strikes and protests have been answered with curfews, mass arrests and even beatings. A small group of guerrillas, calling themselves the Red Faction, has formed to put a stop to the increasing violence.Official Site: Red Faction: Guerrilla
