Real Madrid is Spain's most successful football (soccer) team, and with a record 31 La Liga titles and nine UEFA Champions League titles, making them one of Europe's most successful teams as well. The club was founded in 1902, and in 2000, FIFA named Real Madrid the "Best Club of the 20th Century."
