    As an Academy Awards party host, Wilson, to kill time before the Oscar show, invited his guests to name the worst picture. Allan Carr's Can't Stop the Music won the first Styrofoam award.TIME: The Razzies (January 21, 2009)

    The name Raspberry comes from a derisive sound that is made by blowing air when the tongue is between the lips. The noise resembles the sound one hears when flatulence escapes the body, and signifies disapproval.

  • Worst Career Achievement Award

    The Worst Career Achievement Award will be given in 2009 for the fifth time in the Razzie's history. The honor goes to Uwe Boll.
