Ray Seitz reported his wife Jennifer Seitz missing in the early morning hours of December 26, 2008. The Setizes were aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship on a seven day Caribbean cruise and Jennifer Seitz is believed to have gone overboard near Cancun, Mexico on the evening of December 25. The cruise ship returned to port on December 28, 2008, at which time FBI agents began investigating Jennifer Seitz's disappearance.FOX News: FBI Investigating Case of Missing Cruise Passenger (December 29, 2008) Surveillance video taken from the ship showed a woman, believed to be Jennifer Seitz, going overboard at approximately 8:00 p.m. on December 25. Investigators questioned Ray Seitz, but he was not detained or charged with any crime. On December 29, 2008, Jim and Suzanne Nestor, two passengers who were also aboard the cruise ship appeared on The Today Show. Jim Nestor reported that the day after his wife went missing, Ray Seitz announced he was going to visit the ship's casino "to see if he could change his luck."
