A Landmark Author
Ray Bradbury has been a full-time writer since 1941. His first short story collection was published in 1947. He has written a dozen novels, including Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles, both of which are required reading in many American high schools. His numerous short stories have been collected in nearly fifty books. His screenplay credits include Moby Dick, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and a number of episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Twilight Zone.
