The Raveonettes are a rock duo from Finland, who have found success in the U.S. with their unique brand of Noise Pop. The Raveonettes are comprised of lead singer and guitarist Sune Rose Wagner and bassist Sharin Foo. Their two-part vocal harmonies were inspired by The Everly Brothers, which they added to a hard-edged guitar sound overlaid by noise.
Their first full-length studio album, Chain Gang of Love, was released in 2003. Their third album, Pretty in Black, was released in 2005. Their current album, Lust Lust Lust, is said to be more minimalistic and synthetic then their previous albums to date. It has received mostly positive reviews since it was released in 2007.
Their hit singles include, "Attack of the Ghostriders," "That Great Love Sound," "Heartbreak Stroll," "That Great Love Sound," "Love in a Trashcan" and "You Want The Candy."
