Raushee Warren

  • Rau'shee Warren is an amateur boxer from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the 2007 flyweight world champion. On August 12, 2008, he was defeated in the first round of the 2008 Olympics by Lee Ok-Sung of South Korea. He avoided his opponent for the last minute of the round, believing he had won on points, despite the urging from his coach to continue fighting. He lost by one point.

    Warren started in amateur boxing in 1995. He participated in the 2004 Olympics and started winning U.S. championships in 2005. In 2007, he became the flyweight world champion. He cites his mother as his biggest influence and has indicated that he also enjoys playing basketball.
