Ratemycop.com is a website that allows people to rate the performance of police officers in their area. The website profiles over 120,000 officers from 1,000 different departments across the country. Police advocacy groups have complained that a website providing information and complaints about local law enforcement might put officers at risk. Web hosting company Go Daddy has suspended service to the site, citing "suspicious activity."
