Ratchet and Clank Future A Crack in Time is a 3D platformer developed by Insomniac Games and published by SCEA for the PlayStation 3. The third in the popular Ratchet and Clank Future series, A Crack in Time was preceded by Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. The game is scheduled for release during the fourth quarter of 2009.

About the Game
The story continues where Quest for Booty ended, following Ratchet on his continuing search for the kidnapped Clank. Clank had been taken by the mysterious "Zoni" at the end of Tools of Destruction. Zoni will likely return as the main villain of the game, as well as Doctor Nefarious, the primary villain in Up Your Arsenal.A Crack in Time is said to feature new gameplay mechanics involving time travel and manipulation in addition to an emphasis on space combat and exploration.
