Causes
Contact dermatitis is a common cause of rashes which causes redness, itching, blisters and burning where you have touched the irritant such as in the case of poison ivy. Avoid the sun as heat will make the rash itch worse. Avoid scratching a rash which can lead to infection. Calamine lotion or 1% hydrocortisone cream can be helpful for a rash.
