Early Life
Rashard Quovon Lewis was born in Pineville, Louisiana on August 8, 1979. He attended Alief Elsik High School in Texas. In 1998, Lewis decided to forgo college and declared himself eligible for the NBA draft. In his first season with the SuperSonics, Lewis averaged 2.4 points and 7.3 minutes per game. In the 2004-2005 season, Lewis was named to his first All-Star team.
