Raquel Welch

American actress and 1960s sex symbol Raquel Welch made her 1964 film debut in Elvis Presley's Roustabout, and went on to appear in everything from sci-fi (Fantasic Voyage) to Westerns (Bandolero!) to the 2001 Reese Witherspoon comedy Legally Blonde.

Films such as 1966's One Million Years B.C. took full advantage of Welch's stunning beauty by placing her in as few clothes as possible, which likely worked against her gaining widespread acclaim as an actress. However, she spent many productive years working in Europe and has delivered strong performances in television films as well as critical successes such as director Richard Lester's 1973 film installment of The Three Musketeers.
