Computer-animated film Rapunzel is slated by Walt Disney Pictures to be shown in Disney Digital 3-D. The film is an adaptation of the fairy tale of the same name, written by the Brothers Grimm. The animation technique will resemble a flowing hand drawn painting and is inspired by "The Swing", by French artist Jean-Honore Fragonard. Rapunzel is set to arrive in theaters for Christmas 2010.
