Rammstein is a German Industrial Hard Rock band based out of Berlin, Germany, who primarily sings and performs their songs in German. They are a huge act throughout the world though, despite staying true to their roots.
The members of the band are Till Lindemann, Richard Z. Kruspe, Paul H. Landers, Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, Christoph "Doom" Schneider and Christian "Flake" Lorenz.

Rammstein has faced their share of controversy throughout their career. Their live shows have earned them jail time for being over-the-top and too vulgar. They've been accused of having fascist sympathies because of their dark and militaristic imagery depicted in their videos and concerts. They've also been accused of trying to portray themselves as the "master race" because of a photo used on the front of their album Herzeleid, which depicted them shirtless. They have denied this rumor though.Rammstein was also cited in relation to the shootings at Columbine High School. They were also cited in relation to the Beslan school hostage crisis in Russia, that took place in September, of 2004.
