Ramiele Malubay

Singer Ramiele Malubay competed on Season 7 of Fox's American Idol, but was voted off the show on April 2, 2008. During Malubay's Miami audition, judge Simon Cowell said that he did not believe she had the talent to compete on the show. Judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul disagreed, and sent her to compete in Hollywood. Mabulay later became a finalist.

Malubay was born in Saudi Arabia, and her parents immigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines. She is a medical student, and has worked at a sushi restaurant.

In early March, 2008, racy photos of Malubay circulated on the Internet, but none of the photos featured any nudity.
