• Singer Ramiele Malubay competed on Season 7 of Fox's American Idol, but was voted off the show on April 2, 2008. During Malubay's Miami audition, judge Simon Cowell said that he did not believe she had the talent to compete on the show. Judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul disagreed, and sent her to compete in Hollywood. Mabulay later became a finalist.
