Rambo is the fourth movie in the film series starring Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo. Released on January 25, 2008, it comes 20 years after Rambo III.
In the film, Rambo is living in Thailand, making a living by capturing and selling snakes. A group of missionaries ask Rambo to take them up river to a village in Burma. Eventually, Rambo agrees and leads them there. When the group does not return, Rambo joins a group of mercenaries to infiltrate the Burmese army's P.O.W. camp and rescue the missionaries.
The film received mostly negative review from critics. The movie contains extreme violence with 262 kills at an average of 3.2 kills per minute. Despite the violence and criticism, the movie performed well at the box office, coming in at #2 during its opening weekend.
