• Raja Bell is a NBA shooting guard who currently plays for the Charlotte Bobcats. Bell started his professional basketball career with the San Antonio Spurs in 1999, before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers where he played for a year. He bounced around the league before he finally landed a starting job with the Phoenix Suns in 2005. Bell was traded to the Bobcats in 2008.

• A Brief History

  Bell played basketball through high school in Miami. However, garnered little attention by college scouts. He played for Boston University for two years, before leaving for Florida International University. He then signed as a free agent with the Spurs, however moved around the league for the next six years, before earning a starting job with the Phoenix Suns.
