  • Career Highlights

    Prior to his NHL career, Ivanans played for several minor league hockey teams around the United States and Canada. On July 16, 2004, Ivanans signed as an undrafted free agent with the Montreal Canadiens. He played the majority of his first two seasons with the Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League, making his NHL debut with the Canadiens during the 2005-06 regular season. Following the season he entered free agency, signing with the Los Angeles Kings on July 13, 2006. His contract was renewed by the Kings twice since, signing a one year contract in early 2007, and a two year extension in early 2008. He serves as a physical player for the Kings and led the team in penalty minutes during the 1007-2008 regular season.
