Plot Summary
Guilt riddled after a tragic car accident involving her brother, Terri (Hilary Duff) leaves her small town to spend the summer at a performing arts academy in Los Angeles against her father's wishes. The academy holds a competition, with the winner earning a scholarship. To have any chance of singing her way to a scholarship, Terri must overcome petrifying stage fright, the grief of a dead brother, and a heartbreaking summer romance.-
