Rain Pryor is an American actress and comedienne. She is a vocal proponent of multiple sclerosis reasearch. Her father, comedian Richard Pryor, was afflicted with the disease until his death in 2005.
Career
In 1988, Rain Pryor made her on screen debut as TJ on the television program Head of the Class. In the late 1990s, Pryor appeared on the Showtime original show Rude Awakening. Beginning in 2004, she wrote and starred in the stage show Fried Chicken and Latkes. The one woman performance features anecdotes from Pryor's life and memories of her father.
